Hello lovelies, it’s me, the world’s worst blogger! I’m back from a little, ahem, break. I’m so bad at keeping up with this, I honestly don’t know how my faves do it what with working full time, having hobbies and a social life AND keeping churning out incredible content. Snaps for you guys! So I wanted to do a little update to get the ball rolling again and share some great news that you’ll probably be well aware of if you follow me on social media; I’M ENGAGED! My best friend proposed to me at the top of the Lindos Acropolis whilst on holiday this year in one of our favourite places in the world and it was absolutely perfect.
Can you believe I got engaged wearing a Blink 182 snapback!?
I’ve been loving throwing myself into wedding planning already, especially buying the magazines. I feel like Rock n Roll Bride will be my best friend throughout this process. Although we’re not looking at having the wedding for a couple of years yet, the Pinterest boards have started! It is so bloody addictive, I’ll sit down with my book ready for a nice evening of reading and wham all of a sudden I’m pinning lace dresses and centre pieces (if you want to check it out I’m over at pinterest.com/jordysniper). I’ve been loving getting back into reading over the last couple of months though. I always always find that I manage to get through a fair few books whilst on holiday and it reignites my spark for a while before dying right back out. This time I’ve read a few books whilst I’ve been home that I’ve LOVED, I’ve got going again with my Good Reads account and I’m currently really enjoying ‘A Prayer for Owen Meany’ which has been on my MUST READ list for a few years as it’s one of my mum’s all time favourites. Keep an eye out for plenty of book related content on the blog in the future as it is something I’m very passionate about.
Another thing I wanted to cover on the blog was my cross stitching, which is something that fills a lot of my spare time when I do have it. I’m currently working on stitching the Jurassic Park logo for a lovely customer to gift to her boyfriend and really enjoying it. Chris and I have been re watching Dexter on Netflix too, which is great to have on whilst I stitch, as it would probably make my top 10 shows ever made list. Even better now we’re onto season three and Desmond Harrington has made a cheeky appearance.
I’m glad to be back and hopefully in the swing of things with my little blog! I’d love to hear from you if you’re also wedding planning as I need all of the advice I can get. Lots of love,
